Review Update: Day 8

Well the Sally Hansen nail polish strip is starting to crack. There is also a little chipping along the cuticle edge as well. The 2 original nail polishes on the ring and little fingers have also started to chip off. The O.P.I. showing the most wear over the cheaper $1 polish.

The only complaint I have about the JamBerry Wrap is that my nails grow fast and there is a lot of growth just like you would have with any manicure that coats the nail in a thick coat. However, they are better than acrylic and don't damage your actual nail surface. As for the cost of these ($15 a sheet) they are very long wearing and when applied correctly they will last until you take them off. I'm positive that they would last just as long as a set of acrylics and cost much less. The way they cover the nail surface they will also protect the nails just the same and considering that you can get more than one manicure/pedicure from a sheet they are very cost effective compared to an expensive salon manicure that you have to go back for a fill in or to have it redone and pay again.

Other than the cracking and cuticle chipping the Sally Hansen nail polish strip has been pretty impressive for wear time. It has stayed pretty and looks clean. Other than the difficulty applying and the smell these are an affordable nail treatment and last longer than a few days so you really get your moneys worth in wearability. They come in a few different designs also but the fact that they only come in 3 different sizes which requires trimming to fit means you have a lot of unwanted waste of product.

Cracks in the SH nail polish strip

I'm going to give these a few more days to see how each one wears. If you are looking for a long lasting alternative to an expensive salon manicure I suggest the JamBerry nail Wraps. If you are looking for a quick no wait time fix go with the Sally Hansen nail polish strips. The best bang for your buck is the Jamberry. By the way, that middle nail is the new Nicole polish I got from Ipsy and while it is pretty and long wearing the texture is a little off putting.

Love,
Mom
