Ipsy March 2014: Destination Beauty

After so many months being spoiled with jam packed bags from Ipsy. I only got four things this month, however, I'm not complaining!
March 2014: Destination Beauty

This months bag included 2 full sized products of amazing brands and 2 premium sized samples that are absolutely gorgeous.

Lets start with the premium sized samples and work our way up to the prime product I got this month!

First is the Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer. This is a primer that can be worn alone with a little setting powder or under your usual foundation. It has a light shimmer to it which isn't overpowering like some shimmer products do. It adds a slight glow to the skin. It is also a hydrating product and at this point in pregnancy anything "hydrating" is very welcome. We have gotten many products from Pixi in the past and I have never been let down by one of them.

Next we have the Bareminerals Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Get Ready. This is a beautiful berry colored lipstick that feels smooth and moisturizing on the lips with a nice sheer coverage of color. It has a light, sweet, minty scent that is not too heavily perfumed. This will make a nice addition to any spring look. At 1.5 g this is a good bit of product for a sample. I will definitely get more than one trial run from this product!

Thirdly, in this wonderful bag there is Nicole by O.P.I. nail polish in On What Grounds. This is a light blue, textured nail polish with a matte finish. This is also a full sized product that retails for $6.99 locally. I can't give a full review on this product because I am currently in the middle of my trial of the other nail products I am reviewing for this blog! But I am excited to get a nice springy blue color to wear soon!

And finally the highlight of this month's bag! Be A Bombshell Cosmetics eyeshadow quad in Bora Bora! This is a full sized product that retails for $16 on their website, with four jewel toned colors to make the eyes POP! In this pallet we have (moving clockwise around) Starlet; a nice dark earthy tone with deep bronze duochrome shimmer, Bora Bora; a blue green shadow with a beautiful silvery shimmer that will make any eye color shine, Risky Business; a shining gold color with a blue green pearlescent to compliment the blue accent color in the set, and finally Rock Bottom; a warm copper color with red shimmer flecks. All of these colors in this quad really compliment each other beautifully and I can't wait to bring you a look using them. Be A Bombshell always has the highest quality pigmentation and these colors can be worn wet or dry to add a subtle touch or to really make the eyes explode as a centerpiece of the face!

Also Ipsy is trying something new allowing artists to design the makeup bags our products come in. They are also allowing their subscribers a chance to design the bags as well. This months was designed by Klari Reis' called Street Anatomy designed based on her hometown of San Francisco. Ipsy is also based in San Francisco.

As always if you are interested in what this is you can check it out at this link http://www.ipsy.com/r/2l4f and anyone who signs up at this links helps me gain points towards redeeming for other great products they offer! The subscription is only $10 a month for wonderful products from great brands! Almost every month we get way more than that worth in the things they send us!

Love,
Mom
